Terms of Service

These terms apply to toterackplans.com and to the build plans sold on it. ToteRack Plans is operated by [Your full legal name], a sole proprietor based in [Province], Canada ("we", "us"). By using the site or buying a plan you agree to these terms.

1. Orders and payment

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy, who is the Merchant of Record for all orders. Lemon Squeezy handles payment, sales tax, invoicing and billing questions, and their buyer terms apply to the transaction. Prices are in US dollars; applicable taxes are calculated at checkout.

2. What you get

• A PDF build plan generated for the configuration you chose: shopping list, cut list, drawings and assembly steps.
• Instant download after payment, and a link in your receipt email to download it again.

3. Your license

When you buy a plan, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

• view, print and keep the plan;
• build as many racks from it as you like, including racks you build yourself and sell.

You may not resell, share, upload or otherwise redistribute the plan or any part of it, or use it to build a competing plan or configurator. The site, the configurator and the plans remain our property.

4. Accuracy and your responsibility

Plans are calculated from the tote dimensions shown on the site. Manufacturers change their products, and lumber varies. Before cutting, measure one of your own totes and your lumber and compare them with the plan. Material lists and cost estimates are approximate and may differ from what your store charges.

5. Safety

Woodworking involves sharp and powered tools. Follow the tool manufacturers' instructions, wear eye and hearing protection, inspect your lumber, don't overload totes or the rack, keep heavy totes low, lock the casters, and anchor tall racks to wall studs. You build and use the rack at your own risk.

6. Disclaimer

The site and the plans are provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, and we are not responsible for injury, damage or loss resulting from building or using a rack, or from errors in a plan.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the site or a plan is limited to the amount you paid for that plan. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

8. Trademarks

HDX and Tough Tote are trademarks of their respective owners. ToteRack Plans is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by HDX or The Home Depot. Tote names are used only to describe which totes a plan fits.

9. Refunds

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; the terms in effect when you bought a plan apply to that purchase.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of [Province] and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
